Description

This former barn, now used for storage, is located at the west end of the courtyard behind Number 35 Buck i' th' Vine Inn in Ormskirk. It was likely built around 1800 and has been altered over time. The barn is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond and features a felted roof. It has a short rectangular shape and is attached to the west end of the north side of the rear wing of the public house, effectively closing off the west end of the courtyard. The structure is two storeys high and has full-height wagon entrances on opposite sides. There is a short link to the left and a doorway to the right with a loading door above. The barn is included for its group value with the adjacent public house.
