Description

This is a canal milestone from the 19th century, located approximately 350 metres south of Haskayne Bridge along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular shape. The right-hand plate is inscribed with 'LEEDS 110 1/4 MILES', while the left-hand plate is missing.
