Description
Church View Cottage is a 17th-century house that was originally subdivided but has now been restored to a single dwelling. It features a cruck frame with a brick base and stone quoins, currently roughcast, topped with a slate roof. The cottage is one storey high with an attic and consists of three bays. It has two segmental-headed windows with small-paned horizontally sliding sashes, along with two small casement windows that are now boarded up. There are one cross-axial and one gable-end stack located at the south end. The rear of the cottage includes an outshut at the southern end. Inside, there are two cruck trusses with wattle and daub infill. The ground floor rooms have chamfered beams, with the beams in the southern room being particularly crude.
