Description

Lydiate Hill Bridge is an accommodation bridge over the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, built around 1770. It is constructed of stone and features an elliptical arch with a flat band above it, along with a parapet. The retaining walls are designed to sweep forward and return. The bridge is located approximately 340 meters east of Southport Road.
