Description

The Old Post Office is a small cottage, likely built in the late 18th century, which has recently been restored. It is constructed of brick in stretcher bond and features a new slate roof. The building has a very small rectangular two-unit plan and consists of one low storey with two symmetrical windows. The central entrance is a boarded door, flanked by small-paned cast-iron cross-window casements. A gable chimney is located to the left, and there is a small back extension with a catslide roof.
