Description

This is a chimney located approximately 20 metres north of Hardman's Mill, dating from the late 19th century. It is constructed from dressed sandstone and features a square section. The chimney is very tall and slender, with a cubical plinth that has moulded weathering at the top. It has chamfered corners and lancet-like openings or niches on three levels. At the top, there is a square platform surrounded by iron railings, and the flue cap is adorned with a Lombard frieze along the cornice.
