Description

Carr Farmhouse is a farmhouse, probably built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from watershot coursed sandstone and features a stone slate roof with gable chimneys. The building has a double-depth, two-bay plan with a projecting porch at the center. It stands two storeys high, with a two-storey gabled porch that has a plain doorway offset to the left and a small window above. On the left side, each floor has coupled windows that were originally 2-light flush mullioned but have been altered to top-hung casements. On the right side, there is one window on each floor, also similarly altered. The left return wall features one 19th-century window on each floor.
