Description
Lane Ends Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1800, with later extensions. It is constructed from watershot coursed sandstone with quoins and features a stone slate roof, which is felted at the front. The house has chimneys at the original gables, although the left one has been modified to become a ridge. The building has a double depth plan and two wide bays, standing two storeys tall with its back facing the road. The front, which is symmetrical, includes a plain doorway with a large rectangular lintel and two 6-light mullioned windows on each floor. The lights of the windows are arranged in groups of three, and there is a later casement window between the first-floor mullioned windows. The interior has been altered.
