Description

Moss Meadows Farmhouse, dating from around 1800, is now a house with an attached barn. The house is constructed of watershot coursed sandstone, with a stone slate roof and gable chimneys. It is two bays wide and two storeys high. A two-storey gabled porch is centrally positioned, featuring a plain doorway, a tall window on the first floor, and a chimney stack at the apex. The house has two windows on each floor; a stepped triple-light window is on the right side of the first floor, with the other windows having been altered. A barn extends to the left, set on a lower level due to the sloping site, and features opposed segmental-headed wagon doors. The farmhouse closely resembles Moss Meadows Cottage, located approximately 350 metres to the southwest.
