Description
Longholme Parsonage, dating from around 1840, serves as the parsonage for Longholme Methodist Church. It is constructed from watershot dressed sandstone with quoins and features a moulded gutter cornice on the front, along with a slate roof that has gable chimneys. The building has an L-shaped plan, consisting of three bays and a rear service wing attached to the third bay. It is two storeys high and has a symmetrical design. The entrance includes a doorway with a rectangular fanlight and a moulded architrave, which is sheltered by a glazed wooden porch. There are two windows on the ground floor and three above, all of which are sashed without glazing bars. Inside, there is a stick baluster staircase with a curtail and some moulded plaster work.
