Description

Holme Bridge is a bridge that likely dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed, simply-dressed sandstone, using vernacular materials in a formal style. The bridge features two segmental arches with rusticated voussoirs, a pilaster at each end, and another on the pier which includes a cutwater. Additionally, there is a band and a slab-walled parapet, although part of the parapet has been replaced with rubble.
