Gate piers and gates on drive to Read Hall (q.v.), C19. Sandstone and iron. All 4 piers of same height, with 2 flanking the driveway and supporting the main gates and 2 outer piers supporting pedestrian gates. Each pier has channel-jointed rustication, the blocks being vermiculated or having other forms of elaborate incised decoration, and has a flat cap above a cornice.
