Description

The icehouse north-east of Read Hall is a 19th-century structure built of brick. It has a circular plan that tapers towards the bottom and features a domed top. The icehouse is covered by an earth mound, with sandstone rubble retaining walls on the south side and a square entrance hole on the north side.
