Description

This barn, located south-east of Park Head Farmhouse, likely dates from the 1830s. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and features furrowed quoins, topped with a slate roof. The south-eastern end of the barn is wider, and to the left, there is a wide cart entrance that is sheltered by a canopy with a left-hand cheek. The gables of the barn are coped and adorned with kneelers and ball finials. At the rear, there is another cart entrance that is similar in design. Inside, the barn has bolted queen-post trusses.
