Description
The building is a farm store located to the southeast of Dinkling Green Farmhouse, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of rubble, primarily sandstone, and features a slate roof. The structure has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall.
The windows are mullioned with chamfered heads and sills, as well as double chamfered jambs. In the left-hand unit, there is a four-light window to the left of the door and a three-light window on the first floor. The doorway has chamfered jambs and a triangular head. In the right-hand units, there is a five-light window to the left of the door, a three-light window to the right, and two three-light windows on the first floor. The doorway here also has chamfered jambs and a triangular head. To the left of the five-light window, there is a blocked fire window with a plain stone surround. The right gable features a three-light window, a two-light window to an outshut, and a blocked first-floor window.
Inside, the left-hand unit contains the remains of a chamfered stone fireplace against its internal wall. Backing onto it in the middle unit is a blocked shouldered stone fireplace, which has a chamfered and stopped firehood bressumer with a mortise for a heck post.
