Description
Fair Oak Farmhouse is a 17th-century house that has been altered over time. It is constructed of pebbledashed rubble and features a slate roof. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high. At the left end, there is a gabled stone porch. To the right of the porch, there is a sashed window with a plain stone surround that incorporates the head of a mullioned window. Next to it is a reconstructed two-light mullioned window. On the far right, there is a cross window with an outer rebate and an inner cyma moulding. On the first floor, there are two similar windows, along with a sashed window with a plain stone surround located at the far left above the porch. Between the two right-hand units, there is a chimney with a brick cap. The left gable features a reconstructed three-light mullioned window. There are later extensions at the rear of the farmhouse.
