Description
Stoops Farmhouse and barn is a combined structure dating from the 18th century. It is built of rubble with a stone slate roof that features stone coping on the right side. The farmhouse has two windows on each floor, which have square stone surrounds, although the original mullions have been removed. The former central doorway, which had a triangular hood, is no longer present. To the left, the barn includes two doorways with chamfered arched lintels, one of which has been converted into a window. The first-floor windows of the barn have been altered. At the rear of the barn, there is a plain 17th-century three-centred arched doorway. The building also features gable and ridge chimneys.
