Description
Accornlee Hall Farmhouse is a house with a date of 1613 on the porch, but it is believed to have been built in the late 17th century and altered around 1900. The building is constructed of stone with a plinth and features a stone slate roof with molded coping and kneelers. It has an H-shaped plan, with the west front showcasing two gabled wings and a central gabled jettied porch. The porch door is ogee moulded, and there is a 3-light window above it. On either side of the porch, there are 2-light windows on the ground floor. The gabled wings are identical, each having two 3-light windows on the ground floor, a 5-light window on the first floor, and a 2-light window with labels at the gable. The east front is similar but does not have a porch. A large stack is located on the ridge behind the left wing. Inside, there is a low stone doorway and a stone fireplace with two ovens, although the interior has been stripped and the house was reroofed around 1900.
