Description
Breeze House is a house that dates from perhaps the late 17th century and was altered in the late 18th century. It is constructed of stone, rendered, and has a stone slate roof with gutter corbels. The building has a double depth plan and stands two storeys tall. The front features a chamfered central doorway, flanked by a 4-light window and a 10-light transom window. A continuous dripstone runs between the floors. Above these, there are three 3-light transomed and mullioned windows, all of which are chamfered. The rear of the house has two 3-light windows on the upper storey, along with a central round-headed gothic traceried stair window. Below, there are two 2-light windows and one 4-light window. The interior includes a rare plan, along with 18th-century panelling and a staircase.
