Description
The garden entrance to Hobstones Farmhouse is an archway dated 1704, marked with "ES 1704 ES" in panels above the arch. It features a dressed stone arch set within a rubble wall. The weathered stone coping is stepped up over a cambered arch, which is formed of a single stone on each side. The weathering extends over short turned balusters that sit above recessed panels. Additionally, there are large ball finials positioned over the center and the jambs of the archway.
