Description
Langroyd Hall is a building dated 1604, as indicated by the lintel over the arch. It has been altered in the 18th century and in 1900. The structure is made of stone with a plinth and features a slate roof with moulded coping, kneelers, and finials. The building is two storeys high and has a jettied porch. The doorway has a four-centred arched head, with the moulding continuing through the jambs. Above the doorway is a carved panel displaying the arms of the Carr Family.
On the front facade, there is one three-light sash window with a broad centre light set in a splayed surround, and a moulded string at the eaves. There is also a sash window on the return side. The cross wing to the right features one elongated three-light stone mullion window with a moulded and returned dripstone. To the left of the porch, there is a two-light transmullioned window and a two-light sash window above, both with moulded and returned dripstones. The hall section includes a similar transmullioned window, while a single light window to the left has been blocked. On the first floor, there are two sash windows.
