Description
Back O' Th' Edge is a house dating from the mid-17th century that has been altered over time. It is constructed of stone and features a stone slate roof with a central chimney. The building has one five-light window and one four-light window, both with chamfered stone mullions and surrounds, as well as moulded and returned dripstones. Above these, there are two three-light windows. It is reputed that the house originally had three storeys, but the ground floor now serves as a cellar, which shows signs of having been used as a dairy in the past.
