Description
The property is a 1618 farmhouse and cottage. The rear elevation retains four original stone mullion windows on the upper storey, comprising a mix of four-light and two-light openings, and five-light and two-light windows on the ground floor. To the left of the building, there are two plain windows on the first floor, with one window below. A recent porch and a circular window were added in 1983. The right-hand return features a single-storey gabled outhouse, now used as a porch, with a moulded door having a square head and triple arched moulding above. A tablet inscribed "H/IE/1618" is positioned above the door, featuring two motifs whose details are now indiscernible. A barn, which is not part of the listed structure, has a four-centred arched doorway with a heavy pegged door, which is said to have originated from the main house.
