Description

Birks Holme Barn is a 17th-century barn built in 1691. It is constructed from sandstone rubble, featuring a roof that is slate on the left side and stone slate on the right. The south-east wall includes breathers and a wide entrance with a segmental arch. To the right of the entrance, there is a door with a chamfered surround, and to the left, another door also with a chamfered surround, which has a shaped lintel inscribed with '1691 WET'. The interior was not accessible at the time of the survey.
