Description

Green Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century, altered subsequently. It is constructed of roughly-faced rubble stone, with a steeply pitched roof of stone slate. The house has two storeys and originally three bays. The central bay features a four-light mullioned window with rebated and chamfered details and a hood mould on the ground floor. A window to the right has splayed reveals. The windows on the first floor have plain reveals, with the central one having a rebated and chamfered surround. The doorway, originally in the left-hand bay, now has plain reveals and has been blocked to create a window. The current entrance is through a lean-to addition to the left, which features a gabled porch. Chimneys are present on the gable ends, with copings and kneelers.
