Description

Church Bridge is a bridge located in Low Bentham, likely built in the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of squared rubble and features ashlar voussoirs. The bridge has two spans with segmental headed arches. There is a string course at the base of the parapet, which has coping, and an angular cutwater on the downstream side. The bridge has been widened on the upstream side.
