Description

Low Bentham Bridge is a bridge located on Bentham Main Street, likely built in the early 18th century and repaired in the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features two spans with segmental arches. The bridge has round cutwaters with round caps on both sides, and a stringcourse at the base of the parapet. The parapet and wing walls are topped with coping and iron railings. Additionally, there is an iron boundary plate for the West Riding.
