Description
The barn located north-east of Park House Farmhouse dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a tile roof. The north-west wall has a wide entrance with a segmental arch, which is now glazed. To the left of this entrance, there is a door with a chamfered surround, and to the right, a door with a plain stone surround. Further to the right, there is a window with plain reveals and a concrete lintel, along with a pitching door above it. At the far right, beyond a straight joint, there is an addition that includes a wide entrance with a segmental arch, now containing a smaller door and window. The gables are topped with copings and kneelers. The right-hand gable wall features a re-set doorway with a moulded surround and a shaped lintel inscribed with '1683 GBI'. Above this doorway is a sandstone sundial plaque, which has a moulded surround with flanking pilasters and is inscribed with 'G? 1777'.
