Description
Old Wood House is a mid-18th century house located on Heaton Bottom Road in Heaton-with-Oxcliffe. The building is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a slate roof. It has two storeys and is arranged in three bays. The windows have chamfered mullions and consist of two lights, except for the left-hand window on the ground floor, which has three lights, and the central window on the first floor, which has one light. The doorway, situated in the central bay, has chamfered jambs and a plain lintel. There is a chimney on the left-hand gable.
