Description
Ivy House is a mid-18th century house located in Waterhouses. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, featuring a red brick front with flared headers. The roof is made of plain tiles with a coped verge, and there are brick stacks at both the end and the ridge. The house is oriented north-east to south-west and has two storeys with toothed eaves. It has three bays, with a straight joint between the left and central bays. The windows are three-light mullioned windows; the central and right bays have flat-faced windows, while the left bay features chamfered mullioned windows on the ground floor to the left and on the first floor to the right. There is also a half-glazed door to the right of the left bay.
