Description
Manor House Farmhouse is a house from the early to mid-18th century, built of squared sandstone with a stone slate roof. It has a double-pile plan and features a symmetrical design with two storeys and attics, comprising five bays. The facade includes chamfered quoins, a first-floor sill band, an eaves band, and a moulded cornice beneath the eaves. The windows are surrounded by plain stone and are sash windows, with only the upper halves retaining glazing bars. The entrance door is made of raised and fielded panels and is framed by an architrave with a fluted keystone. Inside, an arch of grained timber leads to the stair hall at the rear, flanked by pilasters and featuring a fluted keystone, with a dentilled cornice above. The dog-leg open-string staircase has three turned balusters on each tread, carved tread brackets, and a ramped handrail.
