Description
The Golden Ball Inn, also known as Snatchems, is a public house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed from pebbledashed rubble and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and the main section consists of two bays. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and are set in chamfered stone surrounds, except for the left-hand window on the ground floor, which has three lights with chamfered mullions. The central doorway, which is located beneath a modern porch, has a cyma-moulded surround. The gables are equipped with kneelers and chimneys. To the right, there is a lower section that has two sashed windows with glazing bars and plain stone surrounds on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is a French window with a plain stone surround, flanked by modern windows with splayed reveals.
