Description

This is a mid-18th century house located on the south side of Bondgate in Helmsley. It is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and features a pantile roof with brick stacks. The house has a central through-passage and a two-cell plan with a rear outshut. It stands two storeys high and has two first-floor windows. The entrance is a 20th-century half-glazed door, which is flanked by three-light Yorkshire sash windows that have wooden lintels. On the first floor, there are squat three-light Yorkshire sash windows. The roof is steeply pitched, and there is a stack at the left end. This building is included for its group value.
