Description
This is a house from the early 19th century, with a rear that was rebuilt in the late 19th century. It is constructed of rendered rubble and has a slate roof. The building features a two-unit double-pile plan and has a symmetrical design with two storeys, three bays, and projecting tooled quoins. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and have plain stone surrounds. The door has a plain stone surround with a projecting moulded hood. To the left, there is a lower extension that has ashlar quoins and an ashlar surround to a sashed window. A rubble garden wall borders the lane on the left and includes a shaped decorated lintel that has been re-set over a gateway, inscribed with 'ISM 1708'.
