Description
Longcroft is a house built in the early 19th century. It features coursed and squared rubble with rusticated ashlar quoins and ashlar dressings. The roof is made of stone slate and is hipped to the left, with a coped verge on the right. There is a rough-faced ashlar ridge stack and integral end stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan.
On the southeast elevation, the house has two storeys with two windows. The windows are 16-pane glazing bar sashes set in raised surrounds. The central entrance consists of a double-leaved panelled door topped by a semi-circular fanlight with radiating glazing bars. This is flanked by panelled pilasters with moulded caps, and there is a raised keystone above the fanlight.
The southwest elevation also has two storeys with irregular fenestration. There are two ground floor windows, one on the left and a shorter one on the right, along with two first floor windows on the left. A half-glazed door is located to the left of centre.
