Description

Smithy Cottage is a cottage dated 1811, constructed from coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and topped with a clay tile roof. It features an ashlar integral end stack and is a single cell with a rear extension. The building stands two storeys high and has one window, which is a two-light plain mullioned window containing plate glass sashes. To the left of the window, there is a door with the date inscribed on the lintel. Additionally, there is a fire window located on the right-hand gable end.
