Description

The building is a farmhouse, later divided into a pair of cottages and used as a dairy and granary, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of roughly laid rubble stone with ashlar dressings, and has a slate roof with decorative verges. The chimneys are of rough-faced ashlar, located to the right and left of the centre, and on the left hand gable end. The windows are arranged asymmetrically: four evenly spaced square windows on the ground floor, and four windows on the first floor grouped towards the left, with the two right hand windows square. The left hand window is of a similar width but taller, the second from the left is taller and narrower, and all have glazing bar sashes with horns. A half-glazed door is located on the left, with board doors to the right and to the right of centre. There is a first-floor board door on the right, with ventilation slits. A low extension from the mid-19th century is attached to the left, and a 20th-century lean-to garage extension is on the right.
