Description
Warslow Methodist Chapel is a non-conformist chapel dated "PRIMITIVE / METHODIST CHAPEL / AD 1848 / PREPARE TO MEET THY GOD". It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble with rusticated ashlar quoins and dressings, topped with a clay tile roof featuring coped verges. The chapel has a single cell plan with its gable end facing the street. There are two rounded windows on each side, with top openings that have glazing bars. The west doorway is round-headed and has a reeded pilaster surround, along with a raised keystone decorated with a cross motif, and a date stone positioned above it.
The small west forecourt is enclosed on the sides by a coped stone wall and corner piers with pyramidal caps, and at the front by a stone dwarf wall topped with cast iron railings that feature spears on two levels. A central wrought iron gate is flanked by square stone piers with pyramidal caps, and the edges of these piers are chamfered and stopped.
