Description

Todd’s House is a house likely dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The ground floor windows are characterised by plain stone surrounds, with a central timber mullion dividing each window; one side of each window is sash, and the other is fixed. First-floor windows are sash windows with rebated and chamfered surrounds. The central doorway has a plain stone surround and a re-set lintel inscribed with the date '1687 WGE'. Gable chimneys are present. The interior features some chamfered main joists and a shouldered fireplace.
