Description

This milestone, likely from the late 18th century, is made of sandstone and has a triangular shape with a slightly rounded top. Both sides feature incised fingers indicating directions. The left side is inscribed with "To Lancaster. To Ky Lonsdale or Ingleton," while the right side is inscribed with "To Bentham."
