Description

The sundial located south of the Church of St Wilfrid is likely from the 18th century. It is made of sandstone and features a brass plate and gnomon. The base of the sundial is roughly square in shape, while the shaft is rectangular and tapers with chamfered edges. The plate is inscribed with the name 'S[?] Simpson Fecit'.
