Description
Hillside is a house that likely originated as a late 19th-century conversion of an earlier building featuring elements from the 18th and 17th centuries. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and has a steep slate roof. The house has two storeys and three bays.
On the ground floor, the left bay features a 2-light rebated and chamfered mullioned window of late 17th-century style, which is partly within a blocked doorway. The first floor has a 2-light chamfered window of 18th-century style, offset to the right. The central bay on the first floor contains a small 2-light chamfered mullioned window with a hood, reflecting early 17th-century design. The right-hand bay has 2-light chamfered mullioned windows of 19th-century style. The door located in the central bay has plain reveals, and there are gable chimneys present.
