Description

Manor House is a house built in 1658, constructed of sandstone rubble with a slate roof. It has two storeys and three bays. The windows are rebated and chamfered, featuring hoods. The left-hand bay has a window with four lights, while the central bay on the first floor has a window with two lights. On the right side, the ground-floor window consists of four and two lights, separated by a king mullion, and the first-floor window has four lights. The door, located in the central bay, has a chamfered surround with a triangular head and features a lintel inscribed with '1658 WB', referring to William Bordrigg. A later William Bordrigg purchased the Manor of Whittington in 1732.
