Wayside is a house, probably dating from the mid-18th century, that has been altered. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys. The original windows have flat-faced mullions. On the ground floor, to the right, there is a three-light window, while the two windows to its left have plain reveals. On the first floor, there are two two-light windows and a central window, all with plain reveals. The door, which also has plain reveals, is located to the right of the left-hand window.
