The St Marie of the Annunciation War Memorial Cross is a stone memorial featuring a Celtic cross with the figure of Christ crucified. The wheel-head of the cross is inscribed with the phrase "IN HOC SIGNO VINCES." At the base of the cross shaft, there is a wreath carved in relief. The cross shaft is supported by a square, splayed pedestal and plinth.
On the front of the pedestal, there is an inscription in applied metal lettering that reads: "LORD HAVE MERCY ON THE SOULS OF/ (13 NAMES)/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE/ EUROPEAN WAR 1914-1918/ AND TO CHERISH WHOSE MEMORY THIS CROSS IS/ ERECTED BY THEIR FELLOW-PARISHIONERS & FRIENDS./ MAY THEY REST IN PEACE. AMEN." The side of the pedestal also features an inscription in applied metal lettering that states: "HAVE MERCY ALSO O LORD/ ON THE SOULS OF/ (11 NAMES)/ WHO DIED IN THE 1939-1945 WAR/ MAY THEY REST IN PEACE."
