STANDISH-WITH-LANGTREE RECTORY LANE (north side) St. Wilfred's Church Club

School, now club. 1829. Dressed stone with slate roof. Quoins. 2 storeys, 4 irregular bays. Pointed windows with Y tracery. Left return has external steps, the lower flight returned to front of building; 1st floor entrance and brick gable-end stack. Right return has pointed entrance. Date stone reads: "STANDISH SUNDAY SCHOOL/ERECTED BY/VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS/ANNO DOMINI MD CCC XXIX", followed by Proverbs ch.22 v.6.
