Lock keeper's cottage. Probably c.1805. Random stone with slate roof and brick stack. One room on the ground floor, 2 on the first and an outshut wing to the rear. Stone quoins and shaped stone gutter brackets. Door obscured by later porch and a 3-light flat-faced mullion window on each floor with multi-paned casements and C20 replacements. The right side has 2 1-light windows the left has 4. One ridge chimney stack. Included for group value.
