Description

Milestone located at the junction with Daylesford Road, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of sandstone and features a triangular shaft supported by a 20th-century brick base. The upper face is inscribed with "Cheadle," while the left face indicates "8 miles to Manchester Centre of St. Annes Square," and the right face shows "4 1/2 miles to Wilmslow" along with a bench mark.
