Description
Depleach Hall is a 17th-century tithe barn that is currently vacant. The building has been significantly altered in the 20th century. It features a cruck frame with a red sandstone plinth, rendered walls, and a slate roof. The structure consists of three bays and is one storey high, with a 20th-century porch at the front and a brick addition at the rear. Inside, there is a large space that is mostly divided by 20th-century partitions and has a suspended ceiling. The exterior elevations largely reflect 20th-century work, although the render may cover parts of an earlier structure. Notably, the building has ornate 19th-century pierced bargeboards, and two closed cruck trusses are partially hidden by the suspended ceiling.
