Description

The milestone located at the Huddersfield Narrow Canal in Diggle dates from between 1799 and 1810. It is a rectangular stone post with a curved top and features a round indented face that bears the inscription "12 miles". This milestone is part of a series along the Huddersfield Narrow Canal.
